Will the rose color fade or transfer?
Waxy veg-tan is dyed through, not surface-painted. The color won't peel or flake. In the first weeks it may release a tiny bit of wax onto light fabrics (think dark denim rubbing on a white tote) — that's normal and stops once the wax settles. Patina deepens with use, never fades to dull.
Is the clip strong enough for heavy keys?
Yes. The gold-tone swivel clip is rated for daily key carry. For very bulky keyrings (5+ keys with fobs), we recommend clipping it to a bag or zipper instead — the charm itself is light, and the bead swing looks better that way.
